 Philosophy

You have made a courageous step towards positive change and growth!! I sincerely believe that all beings have an innate need for connection.   A connection not only to others but to yourself is necessary for optimal living.  The therapeutic relationship is a space where exploration and curiosity can support your journey of reconnecting with self and others. 

 

As a counselor, I believe that every person is unique and worthy of unconditional acceptance. Providing support towards a client’s sense of wholeness is my goal.   Authenticity and trust can prove to be a caveat in aiding you as you increase self-awareness, process feelings, identify and practice new approaches to existing problems or concerns, gain insight and to find healing and empowerment. 

 

You will find me to be passionate about helping people work through barriers to create the relationships and lives that they desire and to develop a sense of personal strength and self-acceptance.  I celebrate and welcome the diversity of all clients and strive to create an affirming, inclusive and non-judgmental space in which you can explore your individual needs and therapeutic goals.
